Sam Skupin is an associate attorney at Todd, Barron, Thomason, Hudman, Bebout & Rodriguez, P.C. He grew up in Grayson County, Texas. The son of two teachers, he spent five years as a student teacher and substitute teacher and one year as a certified English and Social Studies teacher during the 2020 governmental lockdowns.
Sam graduated from Austin College with a bachelor's degree and went on to finish his master's in the fall. After teaching, he returned to this studies and enrolled at the University of Oklahoma, College of Law, in 2021. There, he served as Articles Editor and published author of the Oil & Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal (ONE-J), as well as a member of both the Arbitration Competition Team and Order of Solicitors. Sam also externed for the 397th District Court of Texas and interned for a criminal defense attorney's private practice in Sherman, Texas.
Sam's legal practice focuses on the transactional side of the law, with a strong understanding of litigation. In addition to his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, his cat, Galavant, and playing any manner of games.
